Most Airlines uplift less fuel, miss the missed approach fuel requirement: mindFly

Missed approach procedures at some airports can be as long as 80-90 NM which can burn extra fuel thereby affecting endurance.

Pilot picks up wrong taxiway marking leading to excursion:mindFly

Air India Express B-737 taxying on a rainy night ended up in a drain at Kochi airport in southern state of India. How could this have happened? For every, occurrence/behaviour there is a reason. Besides fatigue, environment, poor taxi markings, the reason for this occurrence could have been the intermediate taxi holding marking. The pilot was instructed to turn left on taxiway “F” and hold short of taxiway “L”. The picture above is a view from taxiway ‘C’. Unlike other animals, human beings spend a lot of time thinking about what is not going on around them, contemplating events that happened in the past, might happen in the future, or will never happen at all. Buddhism attributes the root of suffering to the never ending pointless pursuit of transient feel good factor, which causes us to be in a constant state of tension, restlessness and dissatisfaction. Due to this pursuit, the mind is never satisfied. Even when experiencing pleasure. it is not content, because this feeling might soon disappear, and craves that this feeling should stay and intensify….
